“Even greater bands that we don’t truly know read about it on Instagram and messaged us providing assistance and stuff,” Cheetham continued. “Incredible. If this was a 12 months or two ago we would have just experienced to end. We’re fortunate.
“You Me At 6 really informed the group what had took place when we were intended to be participating in and played our set through the PA.”
“We have been quite emotional when they sent us the video of that,” said Tobias-Williams.
Soon after the robbery, NOISY were alerted to an on the internet retailer listing a guitar that appeared remarkably comparable to 1 of theirs. “It was set up for really a good deal of dollars so I thought, ‘Fuck it’ and messaged them,” Tobias-Williams advised NME.
“I designed a bogus account, a pretend name… absolutely nothing that could be tied again to us. And I just contacted [the seller],” he stated, incorporating that he then manufactured an provide to invest in the stolen instrument.

“We commence passing it out of the window of this property into the van. But we recognize the drum kit is not there,” Tobias-Williams explained to NME. “We uncover out later on that their husband or wife has the relaxation of the goods somewhere else. They were being extremely apologetic they did not realise the circumstance they ended up in or that the merchandise have been our livelihood. They ended up like, ‘I’m gonna enable you get it back’.
“Eventually, we all come to an understanding. Then this automobile and an Uber just speed around and pull up. They open up up and all of our gear is in these two vehicles. The two [sellers] are like, ‘Go for it’.”
